Description of Activities

Although there has always been a regular Parish Prayer Meeting to provide the opportunity for individuals to come together as a corporate body to pray for the needs of the church both locally and internationally, more recently, an additional personalised MINISTRY OF INTERCESSION has been introduced.

This approach to prayer ministry has been developed by encouraging individual Christians to become ministers and stewards of the Grace of God; they demonstrate commitment by bringing the needs of the people to God on a regular basis. Through these prayers, individuals and groups, connected to the Parish, are supported by regular and faithful prayer.

A facilitator assists the intercessors by providing them with a monthly Prayer Newsletter, which outlines on a daily basis, church activities, mission partners’ requests, events and issues that require prayer support.
